Approximately 50% of its authors are affiliated with foreign institutions, from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, France, Greece, Italy, Peru, Portugal, Uruguay, and Venezuela, among others.
The journal is indexed in several national and international databases and abstracts. It appears in the Journal Citation Reports and the SJR Scimago Journal & Country Rank of Scopus, as well as in the Mexican Catalogue of Science and Technology Journals (Catálogo de Revistas Mexicanas de Ciencia y Tecnología) of the National Council of Science and Technology.
The journal has an Editorial Board composed of an Editor-in-Chief, several subject editors, a technical secretary, and an editorial coordinator, all from both national and international institutions. The Board’s role is to oversee the journal and ensure its quality and excellence as a medium for disseminating knowledge related to water resources.
