Abstract

This study compared potential water savings among various savings measures and steps to reduce, optimize and recycle water for consumption at the household level. This calculation was based on assumptions about specific uses of water in the home and the respective outflows and relative savings resulting from water savings measures versus no measures. The results
show that the same needs can be satisfied using less water and with excess recycled water than can be used for other purposes.
