Abstract

In this proposal a statement that considers two types of agroclimatological studies: preliminary and definitive is made. The first ones are focused to give a panoramic of the feasible crops in the zone and to define a number of parameters of agroclimatological character and easy calculation, that they are going to help to understand the behaviour of the present agriculture, or to plan their solid establishment and development. Such parameters are evaluated with base on the average monthly information and they are concentred for each climatologic station used in their proposal “agroclimatologic file”. The definitive agroclimatological studies are based on the daily and monthly climatologic and meteorologic information, they are being processed decennial one part and the other in monthly ways; the scope of these studies let a more precise definition of the spectre of feasible crops, the combined handling of phenological and climatological historical information to forecast the production, and the formulation of accurate recommendations oriented to optimize the present yield, or to guarantee the future production. This proposal includes important concepts as the application of agroclimatological classifications and indexes and the estimations of the potential and real yields, such in rainfed as under irrigation.
